Dr. Michelle Bisutti for The Wall Street Journal
I photographed Dr. Michelle Bisutti in Columbus, Ohio a few weeks ago for a story called The $555,000 Student-Loan Burden.
This is the image that ran cropped in today's edition, and two outtakes.

She is a loser!! Pay back your loans!! She didn't even go to a real medical school. I owed $231k after grad school and I paid every penny off within 10 years. I only made 70k for a few years and still made 3k a month in payments. Now, I'm free of my loans and happy to have a career because I was able to take loans out. Stop crying and acting like a loser. She is giving professionals a bad rep.
Start a shoe company with your student loan money.
Very pretty woman. She's got herself into a tough predicament, but I have learned in life that nothing is impossible. You can still have a happy life, have kids, go on vacations, and retire in comfort. Just from now on, you have to use your mind to make good financial decisions.
