So I've been on the road a lot lately. (pt 1)

I realize it's been awhile since I've updated...so I'm going to update with a lot of stuff. Work has been really busy and I've managed to make it all over the Midwest, Chicago, New York and Atlanta in the last month. Big thanks to Noah Devereuax for letting me live in his basement in Brooklyn, and Simon Brubaker for lending me his floor in Chicago. Along the way, I also received an Award of Excellence in CPOY Portrait, Documentary, and Portfolio. Congratulations to Rachel Mummey and Tyler Cacek for College Photographer of the Year and Runner-Up, respectively. This past weekend I was also awarded the In Focus Photography Award and a $1,000 grant that came along with it. It was really great to apply for this grant, as it was money to pick three images and discuss in a written essay why you chose them and why they work for you. Thanks to Uma Sangvhi for writing my letter of recommendation.
